PlayStation Plus Free Games July 2016: Xbox Games With Gold Titles Sony Should Also Give Away

By on
The month is halfway done, so gamers better make sure they have grabbed the free games being offered by PlayStation Plus exclusive for June 2016!

June?s coming to a close, and that means Sony?s premium subscribers are getting new titles soon. June?s giveaway surprised fans as it included NBA 2K16, a less than a year old AAA title. This shows that Sony is not only focusing on giving away old AAA titles and indie games for free. We have a long wish list for Sony, and this time, we?re looking at Xbox Games With Gold titles for inspiration. Here are a few titles that Sony should give away for PlayStation Plus Free Games next month.

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

Crystal Dynamic?s reboot of Tomb Raider was one of the best games in the series to date. It was even re-released on current gen consoles as Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. The game has upgraded graphics and performance, so it?s deserving to be on the PlayStation Plus Free Games selection next month. It?ll come just in time with the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider for the PlayStation 4 later this year.

Assassin?s Creed 4: Black Flag

The fourth main entry in Ubisoft?s Assassin?s Creed is considered as one of the last good entry?s in the series. The game had a nice open-world explorable by a ship which can also be customized by players from the boat itself all the way to the shanties and its crew. It was a good game all in all and although it had a few performance issues, it played significantly well months after its initial release.

Darksiders 2

Not many players know the Darksiders series. Despite being less popular than other franchises, it manages to hold its own ground, thanks to superb gameplay and story-telling. The second entry was better than the first; it was even re-released with an HD version for current-gen consoles. If released on the PlayStation Plus Free Games program, players have a chance to get their hands on an excellent title.
