Sony has apparently leaked a title from the lineup of PlayStation Plus free games for August 2016. Sony has already released their free titles in both US and Europe, however, the company placed Yakuza 5 for PS3 as a free game. The PlayStation Store Europe website was the one that listed Yakuza 5 for PS Plus subscribers, but later, the company removed the listing. It seems that Sony mistakenly placed a title which is meant to be added next month.
Every month, Sony offers free games to its PS Plus subscribers. The company recently added six new free games to the library. When the company replaced last month?s games with the new ones, it inadvertently placed Yakuza 5 as a free-to-play game for PS Plus subscribers instead of Fat Princess. Eurogamer captured a screenshot and reported that the listing was later removed from the official store.
If Yakuza 5 appears next month as part of the PlayStation Plus free games for August, it will be available for PS3 players. The game was released in North America and Europe in December last year.
Yakuza 5 features gameplay similar to the previous titles from the franchise. It features two different game modes: the Adventure Mode and Combat Mode. Developed by Sega, the action adventure game features five playable characters in five settings across Japan. It has the highest number of locals and protagonists in any game from the series.
Those who wish to play the game can download it from the official PlayStation Store for PS3. Usually, Sony reveals the lineup of PS Plus games at the end of the month, but the company?s previous lineups have been leaked many times. However, there?s no official information yet regarding the PlayStation Plus free games for August 2016, so it is better to wait for the company?s announcement and take the rumors with a grain of salt.
