Platinum Games Confirmed As Developer Of Mystery Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game

You read that right, we might be seeing a new game starring our favorite Ninja Turtles.

And things are becoming a reality, as Gematsu discovered a rating in Brazil for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan video game that is available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, it will be published by Activision. This was registered last June 11. For those of you who are not aware of this franchise, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was from a popular 80?s cartoons based on a classic comic book series, TMNT was re-launch several times as an animated series or movies, with the most recent was a live-action movie produced by Michael Bay.

It was still undetermined at that time if the TMNT game is real as there were no announcements from Activision in regards to the discovered game. However evidence that the game exists started to surface once more as a rating from the Australian Classification Board shows that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is real and will be develop by Platinum Games. It is not a surprise to see Platinum Games handle a TMNT game as they recently have experience in handling action games, they previously released games based on animated series franchises such as The Legend of Korra and Transformers: Devastation.

Platinum Games is known to create action-packed games, some of their original series include Bayonetta (with the first game released by Sega and the second from Nintendo), MadWorld, Vanquish and The Wonderful 101. They also handled some current game franchises such as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance along with upcoming projects such as Square Enix?s Nier: Automata and Nintendo?s Star Fox Zero.
