Reality Steve recently revealed with “full confidence” who that lucky man is.
“We know her final 4 were Dean Unglert, Peter Kraus, Eric Bigger, and Bryan Abasolo. Dean was eliminated at final 4, and the final 3 guys met her family here in Dallas a couple weeks ago. They then jetted off to Spain for the final rose ceremony, which happened last Thursday, May 11th. I’ll have what happened in between all that stuff in your episode-by-episode spoilers coming soon, but I can tell you with full confidence that: Rachel is engaged to Peter Kraus.“
The Bachelor guru previously claimed that Peter has one of the most recurring Bachelorette job titles: personal trainer and model. However, that’s not all there is to him. To get more acquainted to The Bachelorette 2017 winner, we listed a few facts about him below. Keep reading!
1. He is a dietician.
First things first, Peter Joseph Kraus is 31 years old and from Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2010 with a degree in Associates of Science in Dietetics. According to him, the decision to study that field came after he developed an eating disorder while pursuing a modeling career at 19.
Seeing his health and fitness rapidly decline, Peter came to a realization that he “hadn’t the slightest idea of what it meant to be truly fit or healthy, and in the winter of 2007 [he] hit rock bottom. So that spring [he] decided that it was time for a change and enrolled myself in the dietetics program at Madison College.”
2. …and a business owner.
After pursuing Dietetics, he put up a training facility called WORTH Personal Training. Peter shared on the company website how he fell in love with personal training: “The ability to help someone overcome the same fears and doubts that I once had and develop the power to make drastic life changes, provided me with a sense of pride that I had never felt before. I found great joy in seeing my clients’ success.”
If that weren’t enough to get you hooked on Peter, did we mention the hottie volunteers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation too?
3. He has some great fitness achievements.
A fantastic personal trainer, Peter’s hardwork and determination took him a long way. He won several titles and awards including Madisons “Biggest Loser” Trainer 2010, Fitness Manager of the Year 2011, Top 10 Trainer in Chicago, “TimeOut” Magazine 2012, Celebrity Trainer, Los Angeles, CA 2013/2014, Trainer to Watch, Equinox W Hollywood 2014, and Three top Three finishes in Sprint and Olympic Distance Triathlons.
In his Bachelorette 2017 bio, he mentioned he also finished Three Ironmans, one with a broken foot.
4. He loves football.
When asked who would he be if he could be someone else for just one day, Peter said he wants to be a professional football player. “It is my favorite sport with an awesome paycheck,” he said. “They’re superstars for playing a sport, a game. It just seems so easy.” He’ll surely make a great athlete at 6’3.
If you’re wondering which team he’s supporting, it’s obviously the local one: the Green Bay Packers.
5. Peter almost got engaged before.
In his bio, the Bachelorette 2017 winner revealed the closest thing he has ever come to being married was looking at engagement rings for him and his ex of two years just after three months of dating. It’s a good thing they did not tie the knot because he’d be officially off the market by then and Rachel wouldn’t find true love in him.
