Persona 5 Team To Depart From Shin Megami Tensei For Codename Re Fantasy

Atlus, the developers of the role-playing game Shin Megami Tensei: Persona currently has a new game in the making?Codename Re Fantasy. However, the team that made Persona 5 possible is said to be taking a new path. Actually, an older path.

Rumor has it that ATLUS has decided to finally depart from its hit RPG series, Shin Megami Tensei. The team is also reportedly planning to trace back the roots of the Japanese games, and apply it to their upcoming RPGs.

According to iTech Post, the ATLUS team has appointed Katsura Hashino as the new game director of ATLUS. On the other hand, ATLUS Artwork Team?s Shigenori Soejima was asked to develop a new character for the new game.

Additionally, Atlus? new JRPG project is also reported to have Shoji Meguro as its music composer. The developers of Persona 5 is looking forward to take a new and better road for Codename Re FANTASY with the line-up changed, and a new game set.

Meanwhile, fans can still expect the new JRPG project to have touches of the famous ATLUS flavor.

As per the latest issue of the Weekly Famitsu Magazine, Person 5 ranked 5th in the ?trendiest games of 2016. 70 Japanese game creators and celebrities were asked to answer a questionnaire and rank a number of video games according to their tastes.

Persona 5 has been announced as the fastest selling game in the history of Atlus in October. Furthermore, the game was reported to sell about 337 thousand copies in a span of three days.

Dark Souls II, Pokemon Go, Granblue Fantasy, Overwatch, Uncharted 4: A Thief?s End, and Final Fantasy XV?were the other games?that was included in the Top 10 list of the trendiest games of 2016.

Persona 5 is the 6th installment in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. It is expected to release on April 4, 2017 in North America. Meanwhile, the Persona 5 team has yet to release more details about Codename RE Fantasy.
