Persona 5 News: Much-awaited Game Delayed? Get To Know Why Here

Everyone was excited for the next Persona game, and then it gets delayed.

During the Tokyo Game Show presentation, Atlus showed a new trailer for the most anticipated Persona 5 game. It features the main cast on the game as well as the main protagonist still being silent as like from the past Persona games. The trailer shows the new environment such as deserts and a castle where there are certain levels that you can interact, then we finally get to see a glimpse on how some of the areas in the school levels will work.

We also get to see some glimpse on the combat system and some of its rad game menus that fit well to the latest game, we also had a look on how Personas can be summoned in a battle, the protagonists can summon then with their masks, as from previous games they have different gimmicks in summoning these creatures, from shooting an Invoker (gun-like device) to their head in Persona 3 to crushing a card in Persona 4. We also get to see the list of Japanese voice characters that will be involved in Persona 5.

And finally the release date for Persona 5 was revealed at the end of the trailer; Summer 2016, it was moved from its original late 2015 release and it was supposed to release on both Western and Eastern market. Persona chief director Katsura Hashino explained on their reason to move the release on a later date is that they need to finely tune the gameplay up and in order to meet the expectations of their fans, they may have to wait longer as the Persona team continues to make the game complete.
