PC Games You Shouldn’t Bother Playing With Your Consoles

By on

Nowadays, console hardware is becoming more and more standardized across various gaming manufacturers. This is especially apparent in the PC versions of the different multiplatform games. Manufacturers and game developers are releasing their products with less and less discrepancies between console counterparts. However, this is not always the case. Despite of all these improvements, there are still a number of exceptions.

In other words, there are console games that are better off played on PC ? these are the games that you should not bother playing ?on your consoles.

Portal 2

The puzzle mechanics of this game are so entertaining to play with, that it sets up players with a somewhat disappointing end to its campaign. Fortunately, on the PC, this does not have to be the case. The official Portal 2 Puzzle Creator provides gamers with a huge library (more than 380,000) of various user-generated puzzles that players can always come back to. The game?s editor itself is not only intuitive but also easy to use. Some of its user-created maps are also very devious that they go beyond the difficulty level of the game?s official puzzles.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls series has always been and will always probably be praised for its mods? overall quality. These are additions that are only possible through PC. The mods range from impressively detailed graphical enhancements, to superb mechanics such as hypothermia and hunting. Just about anything you can think of is available through a Skyrim mod.

Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 is one of the games that has a completely different gameplay with its console and PC variants. With so many years of absolutely-for- free updates to its content, there?s no wonder as to why the rules that dictate its class interplay have transformed the game?s strategies. Brand new maps, modes, and weapons can be played in many different ways.
