?Descendants of the Sun? star Song Joong Ki is being dragged into Park Yoochun?s sexual assault scandal.
Allegations were made on the June 29 episode of TV Chosun?s talk show ?Powerful Opponents? by Lee Bong Gyu. The panelist identified Song Joong Ki, Park Bo Gum and Jun Hyun Moo as celebrities who are supposedly involved in Park Yoochun sexual escapades, which led to sexual assault cases that were filed by different women starting last June.
After negative reactions from fans and talent agencies, Lee Bong Gyu eventually apologized for naming Song Joong Ki and the other stars. The TV personality even admitted that police reports cleared the said actors from supposedly being with Park Yoochun during the alleged rape incidents. However, some may wonder why they even had to be named at all if there is completely no truth to their involvement.
A total of five women are now involved in Park Yoochun?s sexual assault scandal. The first alleged victim even resurfaced last week to reopen her case after her boyfriend dropped the rape charges and apologized.
All five women claim that the ?Miss Ripley? actor forced himself on them at bathrooms of adult entertainment bars. The alleged fifth victim and her witnesses also claimed that Park Yoochun?s companions during those nights were seemingly aware of his actions, citing that they would laugh whenever he would go to the bathroom.
Even though investigations for are still not over, there are producers who have reportedly declined working with the award-winning singer-actor. This is supposedly because they want to keep a ?marginal distance? since hiring a ?tarnished? TV star could hurt their projects.
Amid Park Yoochun?s sexual assault drama, his reps from C-JeS Entertainment have maintained support for their prized talent. While explaining that they will cooperate with the police investigation, the agency had said that they are confident that Park Yoochun will be proven innocent. They also plan to press counter-charges if any of the five alleged victims are just lying.
