A new Overwatch comic featuring Doomfist and the known Talon operatives was recently released. The comic features the characters in a covert operation that progresses Overwatch’s story. More than the operation, the Talon characters seem to wear costumes that could become skins in the next Overwatch event.

As seen in the Overwatch Masquerade comic, Doomfist meets up with his old Talon allies, launches assassination operations, and assembles Talon figureheads to “prepare for war”. During these operations, playable Talon agents, namely, Doomfist, Reaper, Widowmaker, and Sombra, were seen in different costumes through the 12-page comic. Potentially, Blizzard Entertainment can include these costumes in the next Overwatch event.

So far, Doomfist wore two costumes. Doomfist wore a full, two-piece suit and a festive blue attire which looks similar to what an old French aristocrat noble wears.

Meanwhile, Reaper seems to have a red outfit with an actual skull head, which could be his actual face. Widowmaker and Sombra also wore a formal dress during Doomfist’s meeting with Maximilien. Lastly, Sombra is also shown wearing a jester outfit as she took out guards watching the cameras. All of these costumes could look interesting once they’ve been implemented in-game.

So far, Blizzard Entertainment has yet to announce a new event. However, Overwatch has previously released comics to tease upcoming events or to supplement the event with its canon story.

For now, we’ll have to wait until the developers announce the next event. The previous event was the Overwatch anniversary event that ran through May and June. Leaks say that the next event would be Summer Games 2017 but no official hints about the sporty event have come out yet.

The next major release in Overwatch would be Doomfist’s inclusion on the live servers this coming July 27. As of now, no events were announced along with his release. Stay updated with more Overwatch news here on The BitBag.
