The Olympics isn?t the only sporting event coming to Rio de Janeiro this month. If you haven?t already heard, Overwatch just rolled out its first seasonal event. Dubbed the ?Summer Games,? the month-long celebration will see special limited edition cosmetic items make their way into your loot boxes. To top it all off, Blizzard has also released ?Lucioball,? a brilliant mash-up of Rocket League and everyone?s favorite beat-dropping rollerblader. If you want to know how to acquire all of this special loot, read on.

From now until August 23, any loot box you earn or purchase will be guaranteed to drop at least one of the over 100 Summer Games cosmetics. This includes the usual assortment of goodies such as new sprays, emotes, victory poses, icons, and highlight intros. The most coveted of these items are definitely the new Olympic-themed skins, which feature select Overwatch heroes decked out in athletic gear bearing their respective nation?s national colors.

Lucio, Zarya and Tracer get two new legendary skins each. Meanwhile, McCree, Mercy, Genji, D.vA, Widowmaker, and Torbjorn will each receive a new epic skin. Blizzard hasn?t announced any plans to give the rest of the hero roster their own summer games skins, but we?ll keep you posted.

Summer games items cannot be purchased with credits, only via loot boxes. The boxes themselves will still be earned through the usual methods: either by leveling up or with real money.

As for Lucioball, here?s Blizzard?s description of the mode and the map it comes with:

?Teams will face-off in the beautiful Est?dio das R?s, located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. Equipped with jump pads and speed-boosting walls, this unique arena amplifies L?cio’s abilities, allowing players to punch, glide, block, bounce, and boop and their way to victory.?

That pretty much covers all of Overwatch?s summer games content. What are you waiting for? Get out there and start playing!
