Outlander Season 3 Spoilers: New Character Introduced; Jamie and Claire to Fall in Love Again?

By on

Outlander season 3 shows what is bound to happen next after Jamie was seen in the Battle of Culloden. It was reported that the third instalment will be based on Diana Gabaldon’s “Voyager“. It could most likely pick up closely after the final episodes from season 2. Fans could expect to see Jamie as he recovers from his injuries, as he was seriously wounded after his battle.

Outlander season 3 is also set to introduce another cast member named John Grey. He will play a big role in the life of the main protagonist. Up to this time, no announcement has been made as to who will play the new role. It could be “Harry Potter” alum Tom Felton, according to recent reports. Other choices of actors to play John Grey could be Neil Jackson and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

Based on the synopsis of the third season of Outlander, there will be some significant changes in the life of Jamie after the Battle of Culloden. What could be the most exciting part is his reunion with Claire. After twenty long years, they are bound to meet again.

However, Jamie is not going to be the person he was. He will be engaged in illegal activities. Fans could look forward to see if Claire will love him still.

According to actor Caitriona Balfe, Claire and Jamie will rediscover each other and fall in love again. Balfe confirmed that this really is the most exciting part.

Fans could see how the two will fall in love with one another once more despite the fact that Jamie is not the same anymore. In some ways, he is not the same person that Claire had fallen in love with.

Balfe added that he thinks both of them have put each other on a pedestal for 20 years. And for them to fall in love with the person in front of them now, they need to destroy the image of the person they have been keeping. Balfe said one can’t be in love with a ghost.

Outlander Season 3 is set to be released sometime in 2017. Tune in only here at TheBitBag for more updates.
