The latest trailer of Outlander 2 reveals glimpses into the lives of Jamie and Claire, who are now involved in a high stakes fight to save their future.

The last season ended with Jamie and Claire sailing to France and Claire revealing her pregnancy to him. The new season, which is now set in France, will see them plan to stop the Jacobite rebellion and change the course of history. The newly unveiled trailer of Outlander shows Jamie and Claire embracing the fashion and style in the highly upward society of France. The teaser shows Jamie touching the belly of now pregnant Claire and them worrying about the future of Scotland.

Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser, revealed how the character he plays changes from ?young man with no responsibilities? to a more mature and understanding one after Claire enters his life.

Heughan also admitted that Jamie and Claire will be facing a lot of new challenges in the new season. ??They?re on this mission, but they still have a lot to deal with. Jamie has the trauma he is still dealing with, and Claire is now pregnant,? according to an article in Youth Health Mag.

Actor Clive Russell is set to join the cast in Outlander Season 2 to play the role of Simon, Jamie?s grandfather. This was confirmed by the show?s official Twitter account.

Russell, along with Tobias Menzies, previously appeared on Game of Thrones. While Tobias appeared as Edmure Tully, Russell starred as Brynden ?The Blackfish? Tully in Game of Thrones. Realty Today speculates that Jamie will meet his grandfather to negotiate sending troops to support the Stuart rebellion. Also set to join Outlander is 16-year old Oscar Kennedy, who appears as Lord John Grey.

Outlander, which first premiered on August 9, 2014, is based on the Outlander series of novels by Diana Gabaldon. Outlander season 2 will be based on the second book of the series, ?Dragonfly in Amber? and is set to premiere on March 2016 on Starz.
