With less than a day before its release, Cinemax has released three clips that would tease the fans about the upcoming Outcast Episode 2. The installment is expected to feature Kyle realizing that he is the key to defeat the demons terrorizing his town.
It can be recalled that in the pilot episode, Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit) is trying to help young Joshua (Gabriel Bateman) to get rid of the demon possessing him. At the end of the episode, it seems like Joshua has been cured, however, spoilers suggest that things are going to get worse in the upcoming installment of the TV series, as the demon that controlled Joshua has not really abandoned the child.
Also, Kyle?s mother Sarah (Julia Crockett) and Mark Holter (David Denman) will be seen a lot. Mark is the husband of Megan (Wrenn Schmidt), who happens to be the sister of Kyle. As the show progresses, things are going to be darker and recent demon encounters are just the beginning for the nightmare Kyle and Reverend Anderson (Philip Glenister) is going to face. So, here are the three clips for the upcoming Outcast Episode 2:
The series is based on the on-going comic series by Robert Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta and it is not for the weak-hearted because based on the first episode wherein we saw a violent exorcism, the series will get even darker all throughout the season.
?It?s really hotting up now [as the season progresses],? Philip Glenister told International Business Times United Kingdom. ?We didn?t want it to be exorcism of the week, that pattern of who?s going to be baddie this week or who will be demonised from the village. But there are a few of those which hopefully be unexpected. It?s really kicking now and it?s always a good sign because I don?t like to know too much of what?s happening in the comic books. I like to get the script and if it keeps my attention like it has done then I want to keep reading this,? he added.
Clearly, Outcast is a TV series to watch out for. Episode 2 is titled ?(I Remember) When She Loved Me? and it is going to air June 10, Friday, on Cinemax at 10 p.m. Eastern Time. The show is created and executive produced by Robert Kirkman, and executive produced by showrunner Chris Black. Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
