?Outcast? Episode 5 ? 8 Spoilers: Synopsis, Air Dates Released

Cinemax has released the synopses for Outcast episodes 5, 6, 7 and 8 while the series takes a short break due to the 4th of July holiday. The series resumes next week, July 8.

The exorcism series from The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman, airs every Friday on Cinemax but fans were left wondering when episode 5 will air since it was not indicated on the trailer whether it is scheduled for Friday this week. But according to Cartermatt, the network has already confirmed the air dates for episode 5 ? 8 and even released the synopsis for each upcoming episode.

Episode 5

The fifth episode is titled, ?The Road Before Us? which is confirmed to air on July 8. The synopsis reads: ?Kyle (Patrick Fugit) presses his estranged wife, Allison (Kate Lyn Sheil), to meet; a suspicious Chief Giles (Reg E. Cathey) shadows his best friend.?

Episode 6

The sixth episode is titled, ?From the Shadows It Watches? which will air on July 15. The synopsis reads: ?Rev. Anderson (Philip Glenister) finds his powers sorely tested; Patricia (Melinda McGraw) reaches out to Kyle (Patrick Fugit); Sidney (Brent Spiner) delivers a warning.?

Episode 7

The seventh episode is titled, ?The Damage Zone? which will air on July 22. The synopsis reads: ?Kyle and Allison revisit their past; Rev. Anderson gets carried away during Remembrance Day.?

Episode 8

The eight episode is titled, ?What Lurks Within? which will air on July 29. The synopsis reads: ?Rev. Anderson finds himself increasingly alienated; Kyle has a stunning revelation from Sidney.?

The Outcast series on Cinemax is an adaptation from Kirkman?s Image comic series of the same name illustrated by Paul Azaceta which follows the life of Kyle Barnes who has been burdened by a dark and disturbing past since his childhood. Kyle has been haunted by demonic possessions taking control over his loved ones and he has to relive those moments through the new exorcism cases he encounters.
