Good news for fans of ‘Orange is the New Black’ as their upcoming season will apparently have new set of characters. Season 4 of ‘OITB’ will have an addition of surprisingly three characters, unfortunately the details of the role they’ll portray is yet to be announced, according to Christian Today.
The three additional characters will be portrayed by Brad William Henke, known for ‘Pacific Rim,’ Mike Houston, known for ‘Deliver Us from Evil,’ and Kelly Karbacz, who starred in the movie ‘Get Smart.’ According to Vine Report, actors Henke and Houston might portray the role of jail guards while Kelly Karbacz might work in the “management side” of the Litchfield Penitentiary.
Sophia and Gloria feud
As for Sophia (Laverne Cox) and Gloria (Selenis Leyva) fans out there, the feud will still be supposedly continuing for season 4 of ‘Orange is the New Black.’ When Cox was asked if there was any chance for the two of them to shake hands and make up, she straightforwardly said no. “I can’t imagine. As a viewer watching, seeing how much remorse Gloria has, I always like to believe there’s a potential for forgiveness, but hits is pretty bad,” she said in an interview with TV Guide. “This is really, really bad.”
Although, Leyva was more positive regarding the relationship between the women. “The audience got to see that these women are having conflict. And it’s not about a personal attack on each other. It’s more about their children, and how they’re desperately trying to hold onto some kind of control,” she said in an interview with TV Guide.
Alex is still alive
On the other hand, TV Guide confirms that Alex, portrayed by Laura Prepon, is still alive and will be coming back to the fourth season. It was revealed that Alex was last seen in a shed in the Litchfield Penitentiary “while an assassin was pretending to be a security guard” and tried to kill her, according to TV Guide. So for those Alex fans waiting for the announcement of her still being alive, you can take the load off your chest.
Season 4 of Orange is the New Black is set to premier on June next year in Netflix.
