Orange Anime Movie: Future is the continuation of the Orange anime series but shown from a different perspective. This time it centers around Suwa and his inner feelings towards the girl he loves and his friend. The said film was received well by fans in Japan and is now going to be made into a manga.

There is no news yet if this anime film follow up will be a one-shot manga or a sequel series. But the good news is that it will be released on January 25 and that Ichigo Takano will pen this adaptation.
The manga will retell the main story of Orange anime movie from Suwa?s point of view. It should show us ?what happened afterwards that no one knows yet.?
In the manga?s new timeline, Suwa gives way for Kakeru and Naho to be together. ?From that day, I always wanted to show these two this future.? The Orange anime movie featured a future showing Suwa?s one sided love for Naho. It also showed the pains of having to support the relationship of his two friends.
We can also expect to see in the manga adaptation, Takano Ichigo?s supposedly written material for the anime?s final episode.
During November, Orange anime movie played in Japan for a two-week limited engagement. According to reports by AnimeNewsNetwork, Takano previously drew a two-part spinoff of her Orange manga titled Orange -Suwa Hiroto.
This focused on Suwa in an alternate future. It shows Naho and Suwa’s lives in the world where Kakeru passed away at age 17.
Orange Manga Synopsis
Everyone has regrets in life. So who wouldn’t take the chance to change the past if given the opportunity? When sixteen-year-old Takamiya Naho receives a mysterious letter, claiming to be from her twenty-seven-year-old self, her life is suddenly thrown into flux. The letter tells her that a new transfer student by the name of Naruse Kakeru will be joining her class, and to keep her eye on him. But why? Naho must decide what to make of the letter and its cryptic warning, and what it means not only for her future, but for Kakeru’s as well.
