Although the release date of OnePlus 4 has not been confirmed yet, there are already speculations about what the phone could bring. One of the most interesting features rumored is that the brand?s flagship phone will be water resistant. How true is that?
Several rumors are already surrounding the upcoming smartphone of OnePlus. Reports suggest that the phone will arrive with a dual camera module, with 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel rear shooter alongside a 12-megapixel front camera. There are even rumors that the phone could arrive with a greater 23-megapixel rear cam.
Now, if these camera features would be accurate, it will be even greater if the phone could be used under the water. Although the waterproof feature is not confirmed yet, it is still a great idea if OnePlus would decide to do it. Also, it will help the promotion of the phone especially with its great specs at a cheaper price.
Aside from being waterproof, OnePlus 4 is also expected to boast a QHD 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2570×1440 pixels. It might also include an LCD panel instead of using an Optic OLED. In terms of chipset, the phone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 830, clocked at 3.6GHz, 8GB RAM, and the Adreno 620 GPU.
Furthermore, the new flagship phone of OnePlus may as well allow up to 128GB internal storage alongside a battery power of 4200mAh. But, even without the confirmation of these features, one thing is for sure, the handset is going to be more powerful than its predecessor, the OnePlus 3.
Lastly, the phone is said to have a price of around $400 to $500. It is again way cheaper than the flagship phones of mainstream brands that cost more than $700. For the release, OnePlus 4 is rumored to hit the stores in June or July 2017, almost similar to its predecessor?s release.
