Making the film even better and more star studded, the much anticipated anime movie One Piece Film Gold is bolstering its lineup of cast members, adding two actors to their roster. Who are these actors?
The team behind the forthcoming film has revealed that the known comedian Masakazu Mimura will be lending his voice to the animated movie. He will also be joined by Naoto Takenaka as part of the One Piece Film Gold?s guest cast.
So who will they be voicing? Takenaka will provide the voices for Double Down and White Jack. Yes, two characters. It should be known that Double Down will be captured by the traps made by Gran Tesoro. White Jack, on the other hand, is a bogus medical practitioner and will be joining a race called turtle car race.
Meanwhile, the comedian Mimura will be the voice behind Saint Kamael. The character is a World Noble who went down with the group who are responsible in forming the World Government. So basically, he is being sent to the Gran Tesoro to gather Heavenly Tribute.
It must be noted that it is not Takenaka?s first time to portray a role for the One Piece franchise. He had previously voiced Shiki in the television version of the the Japanese manga and One Piece Film Strong World.
For the musical scoring of One Piece Film Gold, GLM SPANKY will be the group singing the official theme song of the upcoming movie. And just recently, they gave a short teaser video of the song Ikari wo Kureyo or Give Me Anger on YouTube, uploaded on the playlist of Universal Music Japan. As to how they were chosen, One Piece author Eiichiro Oda himself recommended the music group to perform the theme song.
The said music is newly written for the film and will be included in GLM SPANKY?s second album titled Next One. The album will be made available to the public on July 20.
So, when will the film be out on the big screen? Mark your calendars, One Piece fanatics, as One Piece Film Gold will be released on July 23 in Japan. On the other hand, As we have previously reported, the airing of the film will be record breaking as it is set to be released in 743 movie houses in Japan, the most in the history of local cinema. Some theaters will also be screening the movie with English and Chinese subtitles from July 23 to August 5.
