Once Upon A Time is still shuffling back and forth between Camelot and Storybrooke, and both places are filled with drama. On the Oct. 11 episode, Emma had to find a hero, Arthur?s true motives were revealed, a beloved couple split and more.
In the last episode, the Dwarves were at work in the mines, and Emma showed up looking all dark and evil. She took Happy?s ax back to Excalibur. Geez, Emma. You could have said, ?Please.?
Back in Camelot, the gang was trying to figure out how to get Merlin out of that tree. They thought Merlin could actually be the tree transfigured, but no one really knew. Emma offered to take care of things quickly, but no one wanted to risk her dark magic coming out. They needed to find a mushroom ? the Crimson Crown in the Forest of Eternal Night ? in order to talk to Merlin, according to Hollywood Life.
According to Hollywood Reporter, though Arthur (Liam Garrigan) established a friendship with David (Josh Dallas) in present day and in the flashbacks to Camelot, he actually was just playing on David’s desire to be known for more than waking up Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) with a kiss.
In flashbacks, a secretly-returned Lancelot (Sinqua Walls) warned Mary Margaret that Arthur was the true danger to Camelot. The true depth of his? betrayal was showcased in Storybrooke as Arthur had a loyal servant stage a robbery — and then Arthur asked him to kill himself to keep their secret safe.
Hook enters Granny?s Diner and recruits Robin Hood to help him break into Emma?s house and find out what?s behind the locked door. Meanwhile, Belle enters the diner to gets some food, but notices that the rose has its petals again, which means that Rumpelstiltskin is waking up. She rushes back to the pawn shop, but Rumple is missing. Dark Emma took Rumpel?s body and reveals that she also stole Hook?s cutlass, which Hook had put against Rumpelstiltskin?s throat during his pirate days.
Rumpelstiltskin wakes up to see Emma standing over him. The episode ends with Emma explaining to Rumpelstiltskin that she plans on turning Rumpel into ?the purest hero the world has ever seen?, while looking over at Excalibur, still trapped inside the stone, reports Comic Book.
