NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Rumors

There are rumors about the successor of Nvidia?s GTX 1080, the GTX 1080 Ti. The new GPU is rumored to be coming soon and the specifications have been leaked. The GTX 1080 Ti might possibly come out in early 2017.

GTX 1080 Ti vs Pascal Titan X

The upcoming Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti will be an impressive one. Comparisons between the said GPU and the present Pascal Titan X are already being made. The GTX 1080 Ti is rumored to be faster than the current Pascal Titan X.

The 1080 Ti has the base clock of 1,503MHz and can boost up to 1,623MHz. However, compared to Pascal Titan X?s 56 streaming multiprocessor units, the GTX 1080 Ti only possess 52. There are ways that the Pascal Titan X takes advantage.

The GTX 1080 Ti also bears 3.328 CUDA cores. Which is slightly lower than Pascal Titan X?s 3,584. But also greatly higher than the GTX 1080?s 2,560. The 1080 Ti and Pascal Titan X both have 384-bit memory bus.
