NVIDIA is no doubt one of the biggest companies when it comes to manufacturing graphics cards. Its name has become synonymous with amazing video cards that gamers are always looking for the NVIDIA logo whenever they are looking for new laptops or computers. Tech fans have been looking forward to the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti release which is expected to happen this year. If the recent leaks are true, it appears that the great new graphics card is finally going to launch this March.

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is the next big graphics card that NVIDIA is planning to release. Many tech fans were hoping that it will be unveiled during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017. Unfortunately, the event came and went without an announcement.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Release to Happen in March

According to WCCFTech, it appears that the absence of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti from CES 2017 is because NVIDIA did not find any competition during the event. The same report cites that the launch for the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has been pushed back and instead it will be unveiled around PAX East.

If the rumors are true, it will place the NVIDIA GeForce 1080 Ti release at around the second week of March. PAX East is going to be held on March 10 to 12 so the launch could happen shortly before or after the event.

This information comes straight from an employee of an NVIDIA board partner so it does deserve some weight. If this is indeed going to happen, tech fans will only have to wait a few more months to get their hands on the GeForce 1080 Ti.

With AMD working on its highly publicized Vega graphics card, NVIDIA is surely doing its part also to make sure the GeForce 1080 Ti will come out on top. The stiff competition between AMD and NVIDIA is surely going to benefit tech fans as the two companies will surely try to outdo each other with their upcoming products.
