Can?t wait until the release of No Man?s Sky? Well, here are some No Man?s Sky updates to keep you in the loop.

The first time we heard of No Man?s Sky was back in December 2013 when its debut trailer was shown. It was very promising since the beginning and had gamers? mouths just watering for more. But there were major bumps on the way to its release that frustrated many fans. This frustration led an online retailer to refund the pre-ordered Collector?s Edition.

Frustration is an understatement as some fans? frustration escalated into something much bigger. Fans were so furious of the delay that Hello Games? managing director Sean Murray received loads of death threats. Even a Kotaku news editor, Jason Schreier, received death threats for reporting the delay.

Another PSN email that was released did not help the matter. The email said that the pre-order of No Man?s Sky will have a new release date and will now be available on December 31, 2016. This though, according to Murray, was just standard protocol whenever a game gets delayed. He assured fans that the current release date still stands; and that is in August.

We did not get to see much of No Man?s Sky on the recently-held Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 except for a real short second up on the video screen (a No Man?s Sky screenshot). It might not have made an appearance and wow?d us yet again but we can be glad about it as Hello Games just might be working hard to give us the best version of No Man?s Sky that they can. ?According to Murray, he and his team are doing the best they can and things are turning out well. I guess, this is a good sign that August is the month that we will be graced by No Man?s Sky.
