More big changes are coming for No Man?s Sky. These past few weeks, Hello Games has been pretty busy with providing players a bunch of new content in the game. This time around, the developer might be working to make the game visually better for those with the right console. Will the next No Man?s Sky update feature PlayStation 4 Pro support?
Llamasoft?s Jeff Minter might?ve revealed that a PlayStation 4 Pro support is being prepared for No Man?s Sky. The reply came after a fan asked if the shooter performed and looked better on Sony?s updated console. Minter said that the game looks better on the updated console.
One of the devs told me at the party the other day that a ps4 pro upgrade is in the works that looks great apparently.

We?ve yet to know when the No Man?s Sky update featuring PS4 Pro?support will come. Aside from letting us know that PlayStation 4 Pro support might be on the way, Minter didn?t reveal anything else about the feature.
Minter has been in the business for a long time, so it?s not easy to discredit his tweet. He?s been contributing to game development, so he knows a few people in the circle. He has also worked on a few titles including an upcoming PlayStation VR game called Polybius.
It wouldn?t be a surprise if No Man?s Sky looked better on the PlayStation 4 Pro and had a better frame-rate improvement mode. Many title already have had updates featuring a PlayStation 4 Pro support feature, so No Man?s Sky having one isn?t a surprise as well. No Man?s Sky relies heavily on scenic views and amazing visuals for the complete experience, so letting the game run on better visuals is a whole lot better.
What’s more interesting is how Hello Games was interested in the PS4 Pro (previously known as PS4 Neo) way before the new console launched. Here’s what Sean Murray told the Daily Star back in August 2016.
“For our game (No Man’s Sky) it?s procedurally generated. So more powerful hardware doesn?t just mean upgraded textures or a higher framerate. It means we can fundamentally change the experience.
You can have – and you’ll see this from our patch notes – we’re able to change huge things in the universe, because we have complete control.
With more powerful hardware, we can have more trees, more leafs on those trees. The density or immersion of worlds, or new types of worlds could exist.”
The No Man?s Sky update featuring PS4 Pro support could be coming soon since it?s been awhile since the launch of the updated console. We can expect the update in the months to come.
