No Man’s Sky Review Bombs Drop On Launch Day

By on

No Man’s Sky is now available on the PS4, which should get fans excited. After all, the open-world space exploration title has been one of the most hyped games in recent memory, so it might be quite the surprise to see negative user reviews of the game. This might make fans think twice about picking up the game, but it might be better to ignore any negative No Man’s Sky review.

According to this Reddit user, the negative user reviews on Metacritic are just trolls on 4Chan who don’t want the game to do well for unknown reasons. If fans pay attention to the reviews, they will see that some of them are barely coherent, as they don’t actually address the game’s flaws. One of them even states that the user hasn’t even played the game, which shows the lack of credibility.

As of this writing, there is no official No Man’s Sky review just yet. There are articles that detail the first few hours of the game, along with some early impressions, but they aren’t final reviews. It’s possible that one will pop up later today or the next day, but for now there are no professional reviews of the game.

Witnessing a forum hellbent on making sure fans don’t buy this game is disappointing, especially since most of them might not have played the game. While fans are entitled to their own opinion, they should not review something that they have not experienced for themselves. Fans can dislike a game, as long as they’ve played it first.

The game might not be for everybody since it focuses on exploration rather than combat, but it should be a fascinating experience nonetheless. Very few games have players exploring space the way this one does, especially with the procedurally generated planets and creatures that can be found.

No Man’s Sky is available now on the PS4 and should be out on PC on August 12. It’s one of the most anticipated games of all time, so fans should wait for a real No Man’s Sky review instead of looking at the troll user reviews that are out right now, though some of them are fairly amusing.
