Video game developer Hello Games has recently released a new patch for No Man?s Sky, which is available for both PC and PS4 platform. So, without further ado, here are the things you have to expect in the update.
It was earlier today, August 19, when Sean Murray, Hello Games co-founder, announced that the update is already available for download. However, according to GameSpot, who already downloaded it, there are no patch notes available, which according to Murray is ?incoming.?
Furthermore, the co-founder of Hello Games also shared that the update for PC will add ?support for more hardware? and will improve the frame rate at low spec. On the other hand, the PS4?s patch will improve the stability of the game.
Also, according to Murray himself, No Man?s Sky patch for this week will fix the ?most urgent and critical issues? for the players and they are going to release another update next week on both platforms as well, which will help to further improve the experience for players.
It can be recalled that the game has received several complaints from the players, but the developer noted that they are less than one percent of the total gamers who are actually playing the game. Although that is certainly a small number of percentage, he promised that they are going to resolve about 70 percent of the issues this week.
Meanwhile, aside from the recently released patch, Murray also talked about their plans for the game. He mentioned that as of now, they are focusing on customer support rather than improving and adding features to it. But, he also also teased the fans that there is a possibility that they would add new content like the ability to build bases and own a giant space freighters.
Not only that, Murray also opened up the possibility for the game to become a multiplayer one. ?If you hoped for things like pvp multiplayer or city building, piloting freighters, or building civilizations? that isn?t what [No Man?s Sky] is,? he said. But, he added, ?Over the time it might become some of those things through updates.?
