Everyone’s wondering when iPad Air 3 release will be. Some gurus, including NeuroGadget, predicted that Air 3 will be launched this coming March together with the iPad Pro 2. But it seems quite unlikely since Apple has never used this kind of strategy in their tablets the past couple of years.

iPad Air 3 Release Might Be Confusing For Customers

Having a new 9.7 inch iPad Air together with the upcoming iPad Pros with the same screen size can be confusing, and Apple may have a hard time differentiating the two. Is the iPad Pro 2 expected to be faster than iPad Air 3? How much faster is it expected to become, to think that the 9.7 inch iPad Pro speed is more than enough to be able to run apps on the Apple Store? Also, would iPad Air 3 be slower compared to iPad Pro 9.7 inch? Would it be thinner than Pro 2, when Pro 9.7 is already 6.1mm thick as it is? Admittedly, Apple’s marketing department has to come up with a brilliant marketing strategy for the two, as per macworld.co.uk.

MacBook Differentiation

It was much easier to differentiate MacBooks. One of the reason is because laptop users are usually more tech-savvy and do more research prior to purchasing compared to tablet buyers. Also, laptops are known to have more variations when it comes to specs and features.

For instance, if one simply wants to check their email, they can simply opt for a Chromebook or netbook. Video eds on the other hand will require a laptop that’s much more powerful. However, the iPad range as of the moment is as fast as you one can ever hope for. So it might appear to be a bit redundant if Apple will come up with new tiers on top of these just to get this particular target niche. And releasing new but slower product tiers is also unlikely since the company will also go for the premium market no matter what sector it is. Furthermore, this will be totally unnecessary as the older iPads are still in existence.

But as the saying goes, it’s not done until it’s done. Consumers will just have to wait and see what the real deal will be. For more iPad Air 3 release news and latest update, keep it here on TheBitBag. Hit us with your feedback in the comments below.
