Early next year, Nintendo will release a new console that is expected to once again wow gamers with its new features. There?s very little known about the game library of the Nintendo Switch for now, but a few players have already begun speculating on what games to expect. One of the titles on the rumor mill is none other than Super Smash Bros.
There are a lot of reasons why a Super Smash Bros. title for the upcoming Nintendo Switch is very possible. For starters, Nintendo wouldn?t want to leave out one of its bestselling franchises for the debut of the anticipated console. Eventhub?s Justin Gordon has a few pretty solid arguments as to why the port will be revealed soon.
Gordon reminds us that Nintendo has released a Super Smash Bros. game for every console after the success of Super Smash Bros. 64 for the Nintendo 64. Since then, we?ve received a Super Smash Bros. game from Nintendo with its console including the Wii U and 3DS.
Additionally, a job listing for Super Smash Bros. 6 was leaked back in 2015. While fans may direct their attention to the most recent Super Smash Bros. title for the job listing, the 3DS and Wii U titles were codenamed Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. 5, respectively.?
It was also previously leaked that the Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros. port will launch in 2017 and it will have all existing DLCs included. It was stated however that it will not be a launch title for the new Nintendo console.
What To Expect From Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo could release a new entry in the series once the Switch goes out to the public. However, there?s a higher chance to see a new port of the recent entry into the next console. If the port is going to happen, then it?s likely that the developer will bring in a few new features to boot. There might be new characters or modes to watch out for in case the port does happen.?
