The Nintendo NX has been gaining a lot of steam lately. With Project Sonic 2017 and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild coming to the system, it seems like the weirdly original console will be one to watch out for. It seems like the people in Nintendo have learned from their mistakes and are planning to have Mario and Pokemon join Zelda as some of the first NX games, which is a huge way to debut the new gaming system.
According to the UK version of MCV, Game Freak will be working on the Pokemon game. Whether it is an all-new game or an NX port of Pokemon Sun and Moon is yet to be revealed, but fans would appreciate either option. After all, Pokemon Sun and Moon might be branching away from the usual Pokemon League route, which is very refreshing.
We can also expect a new Mario game for the Nintendo NX, though details on that game are pretty slim. The only thing known about Mario NX is that it will be available within six months of the game system’s debut, so fans won’t have to wait for it too long. It will be interesting to see if it will be a classic 2D Mario game or a 3D one like Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Galaxy, though it could also be a hybrid like Super Mario 3D World.
Fans already know what to expect from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game looks amazing and features voice acting for the first time in the series. The game will also be huge and offers plenty of exploration, which is great for those who might not want to follow the story and just want to go on adventures.
Wii U remasters are also expected for the new console, so fans can expect Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart to make an appearance. If true, it will be interesting to see if more ports will be coming to the new game system.
The Nintendo NX comes out sometime in 2017. It will supposedly be a hybrid of a handheld and a console, with graphics ranging somewhere between a PS3 and a PS4. Either way, it could be an original gaming system.
