After showing some positive earnings for this year, Nintendo is now preparing to show their newest mobile game.

After showing their second quarter earnings, which showed a great momentum, Nintendo said that they will be announcing their first mobile game as well as their financial report in a press conference tomorrow.

The said mobile game will be developed by DeNa Co., who are in partnership with Nintendo in launching mobile games. The mobile game is expected to be launched by the end of this year, though it is uncertain if it will be available outside of Japan. Also four more mobile games will arriving with a March 2017 target release. Some people are wondering if the Pokemon Go mobile game counts as part of the Nintendo mobile game line up, but the Pokemon Go game will be handled by the Pokemon Co., which a 50/50 share with Nintendo and Game Freak, which means Nintendo does not purely own the game.

Nintendo has been quiet about the info on their mobile game projects since their recent announcement of venturing to the mobile scene, but according to Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime in an interview with Polygon last June, Reggie stated on Nintendo?s mobile strategy is “to drive people back to our core video system business whether it’s handheld or console.”

Though the press conference will not be live streamed, it was also hinted that the fan-favorite Nintendo Direct will be making a return, it is unsure on who will be hosting the show as the original host was the late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata. Nintendo Direct is a special show where most of the upcoming games were announced and the top executives of Nintendo were the main host, it was widely received by both Nintendo fans and gamers as it shows that the head honchos of Nintendo are very hands on to their products.
