We’re less than a week away from E3 2017. While we’ve yet to hear the announcements directly from Nintendo, we might know now which titles could be included in the company’s Spotlight presentation and Treehouse event. A photo of Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 announcements has been leaked recently, revealing over 20 games coming to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS that will likely be shown in the expo.
Nintendo Spotlight & Treehouse Lineup
As expected, Nintendo’s Super Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 are included. The company already confirmed that its E3 presentation will center on the new Super Mario game which sees the titular character heading to New Donk City and a bunch of other places with help from some magical hats. So we can expect to get gameplay, more footage and our first in-depth preview of it at the show. Splatoon 2, on the other hand, will likely get a last promotional push before it launches this July.
It seems like the company is announcing Super Mario Maker Deluxe for Nintendo Switch as well.
Apart from its original games, Nintendo will also unveil SEGA’s Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces alongside Capcom’s Monster Hunter Generation 2, HAL Laboratory’s Fire Emblem Warriors, and Koei Tecmo’s Kirby: Defenders of the Dreamland —all of which will be playable at the event. Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, Bandai Namco’s Tekken 7, and Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2 should be gracing the presentation too.
All the aforementioned games will be showcased in both the Nintendo’s presser and the in-depth Nintendo Treehouse showcase.
Other titles included in the list are Pikmin 4, Call of Duty: WW II, Dragon Quest IX, Overwatch and Donkey Kong Country: Skull Jungle among others. According to the leak, they won’t be included in the Treehouse presentation, so perhaps we’ll get new details about their development instead.

We cannot verify the authenticity of the list, so take it with a healthy grain of salt. Regardless, we can set our expectations high this year. Nintendo of America’s president Reggie Fils-Aime previously teased that 2017 is a big year for the company and it is planning a “big” E3 to reflect this.
The Nintendo E3 2017 show will kick off with a live stream at 9 a.m. PT /12 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 13 to be followed by the Nintendo Treehouse event. It’s been confirmed that there’ll be a Splatoon 2 tournament as well at the Nintendo booth this year. It starts on the same day at 2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET.
