In tribute to United States of America?s Independence day – July 4th – a special edition of Kyrie Irving?s signature shoe will be getting a ?USA? colorway this summer. The Nike Kyrie 2 USA will be making its arrival this weekend on July 2 and will retail for $120 a pair.

As expected, the Nike Kyrie 2 ?USA? is rendered in America?s signature palette, consisting of red, white and blue, all kept simple without any graphics, fades, or speckling for a clean and strong color block on the new NBA champion?s second signature model. White consists as the dominant tone, which covers the majority of its upper and sole unit. Blue is prominent on the distinctive mid-foot strap and inner lining, while the theme is concluded with bright red accents adorning the branded tongue and heel.

The Nike Kyrie 2 USA also known as the Kyrie 2 ?4th of July? will drop at select Nike Basketball retailers like Renarts and Sneaker Politics. However, there is still a confusion regarding the release date as the Nike Kyrie 2 USA was initially supposed to drop July 2 but lately reports suggest that the sneakers will arrive later on July 18 in North America. The international market will still get the all new shoes on July 2.

Nike?s release also indicated that Irving will wear these shoes during all of this summer?s international competitions, which basically means the 2016 Summer Olympics. In addition, Kevin Durant, who will be joining Irving for the Rio Olympics, will also be getting his own USA colorway of KD 9 which he will also be wearing for the promotion of Nike.

LeBron James won?t be suiting up for Team USA this summer, but that hasn?t stopped Nike for giving his sneakers an American-themed colorway. The Nike LeBron Soldier 10, the shoe which LeBron wore for much of the 2016 NBA Finals, will also be getting a similar ?USA? themed colorway. The shoe features a white strap at the top, a navy blue body, red accent around the swoosh and some other spots with a white sole completing the shoe?s look. There are also two LeBron crown logos – a red one on the upper navy strap and navy and red one on each shoe?s inside heel – as there has been on post Solider releases.
