Nicki Minaj Schools Miley Cyrus On Racial Equality, And She Makes A Lot Of Sense!

Rapper Nicki Minaj and singer Miley Cryus? tiff isn?t something new. We have seen both pf them take on each other on several occasions. However, once again Nicki has taken a dig a Miley and spoken about her in the latest issue of the New York Times? Culture issue.

It all started when Cyrus told the Times in late August that Minaj was not too kind in her tweets criticizing the MTV VMAs nominations, which resulted in a short-lived spat between Minaj and Taylor Swift reports People.

Over one month later, Minaj has explained why she called out Cyrus after accepting the award for best hip-hop video at the VMAs.

?The fact that you feel upset about me speaking on something that affects black women makes me feel like you have some big balls,? Minaj told the magazine. ?You’re in videos with black men, and you’re bringing out black women on your stages, but you don’t want to know how black women feel about something that’s so important??

Obviously Miley was upset about it and earlier before the show went on air Miley told a Times reported, ?I don?t respect your statement because of the anger that came with it. And it’s not anger like, ‘Guys, I’m frustrated about some things that are a bigger issue.’ You made it about you,? reported Yahoo.

Vanessa Grigoriadis, the reporter behind the feature article, then admits she used poor wording when — after also discussing other fiery conflicts at Minaj’s record label (involving lawsuits and federal indictments) — she asked the rap star if she ?thrives on drama.?

An offended Minaj quickly shut down the interview shortly after.

?Four grown-ass men are having issues between themselves, and you’re asking me do I thrive off drama?? she responded.

Referring to Grigoriadis as ?a troublemaker’, she concluded: ?Do not speak to me like I’m stupid or beneath you in any way. I don’t care to speak to you anymore.?

Very well said Nicki!
