The new Pokemon GO update recently added some Pokemon GO Gen 2?in the app. The new baby Pokemon will be hatched from the Eggs players have collected.
The Pokemon GO Egg Hatching?chart by Reddit user Alex GilBle provides a brief summary of the possible Pokemon that players can get when they hatch a 2-kilometer, 5-kilometer and a 10-kilometer egg. We also get a sneak peek of the possible Pokemon GO Gen 2 available for each kilometer.
Let us start with the eggs that needs 2 kilometers in order to hatch. These include the original Pokemon such as Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Caterpie, ?Weedle, Spearow, Pikachu, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Zubat, Geodude and Magikarp. The baby Pokemon added to this 2-kilometer egg batch are Cleffa and Igglybuff.
On the other hand, the 5-kilometer Pokemon include the first-gen Pokemon like Sandshrew, Ekans, the male and female Nidoran, Vulpix, Oddish, Paras, Venonat, Diglett, Meowth, Psyduck, Mankey, Growlithe, Poliwag, Abra, Machop, Bellsprout, Tentacool, Ponyta, Slowpoke, Magnemite, Farfetch?d, Doduo, Seel, Grimer, Shellder, Gastly, Drowzee, Krabby, Voltorb, Exeggcute, Cubone, Lickitongue, Koffing, Rhydon, Tangella, Kangaskhan, Horsee, Goldeen, Staryu, Tauros, Eevee, Porygon and Togepi. The only baby Pokemon to be added in this batch is Pichu.
For the 5-kilometer eggs, take note that Farfetch?d is exclusive only in Asia. Kangaskhan, on the other hand, is exclusive only to Australasia. In addition, Tauros is exclusive only in North America. As for the 5-kilometer eggs, Mr. Mime is only available to hatch if you are in Europe.
The final 10-kilometer Pokemon egg hatching batch will include Onyx, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Chansey, Mr. Mime, Scyther, Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar, Pinsir, Lapras, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Snorlax and Dratini. The new baby Pokemon for this batch include Smoochum, Elekid and Magdy.
Aside from obtaining a new Pokemon every time an egg is hatched, players can also claim 100 Experience Points depending on the type of egg they hatched and an additional 500 Experience Points if they are able to hatch a new Pokemon. These new Pokemon GO Gen 2?monsters can now be added to the ?gotta catch ?em all? list of the trainers of this world-renowned app.
