A new concept design of Google?s Nexus 6 suggests a bigger screen that the upcoming phablet Galaxy Note 4 of Samsung.
Reports and leaks with regard to the specifications of the alleged Nexus 6 said that the next smartphone will come in a 5.7-inch 1080p display, which is bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4?s rumored 5.5-inch super Amoled display with a resolution of 2560×1440.
The next-generation Nexus 6 ?was also reported to come from LG, ?based on their new flagship device G3. Some reports also said that Nexus 6 will sport a 5.2-inch full HD curved LCD display, powered by a 64-bit version of its Snapdragon 800-series chipset, will have 3GB RAM, will run on Android 4.5 Lollypop, and will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
Moreover, leaksters said that the device will be waterproof, will feature Polycarbonate body, 12MP camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), 5MP front camera and dual tone LED Flash, HTC’s iconic Boom Sound Speakers, and a 3200+ mAh battery.
Other reports said that Google Nexus 6 will have Finger print and other security sensors, Health, atmosphere and thermo sensor, Bluetooth, NFC, Micro-USB Wi-Fi and 4G.
Rumors also said that Nexus 6 would be unveiled at Google’s I/O Developers Conference on 25 and 26 June in San Francisco, but other reports said that it would be in October as Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, and Nexus 5 were all introduced in that month.
Other matters relating to Nexus 6 said that Google and LG will team-up once again to develop the device. It could be remembered that the Nexus 4 used LG Optimus G?s hardware platform, while the Nexus 5 was based on the LG G2. That is why there are a lot of speculations that the next Nexus phone will be based on LG G3 which will be officially unveiled on May 27.
