By on

Not just the common variety is missing from the Google Store, even the different color versions of the 6P have suddenly vanished. Could it be that the demand for this phone has overwhelmed Google? Or could we possibly be see the arrival of the Google Nexus 2016 smartphones soon.

A large and powerful company like Google could easily resupply stock. And if the phones ran out, why don?t they restock? Unless, Google?s planning to make room for their much anticipated Marlin and Sailfish phones. A spokesperson from Google shared that they: ?currently have no plans to restock the Nexu 6P.?

As we previously shared, the highly anticipated Sailfish and Marlin phones, which are believed to be Google phones, are expected to be launched some time soon. Multiple reports have been coming out recently about the phone. Leaked photos have even started to surface claiming to be the Sailfish and Marlin.

With speculations & leaked photos in the air, a new lead has surfaced. AnTuTu reportedly leaked the supposed specs of the phones. Both Marlin and Sailfish are expected to come with Qualcomm?s Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4 gigabytes of RAM and both models will be equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera.

The Nexus 6P?s sudden demise is all too common with the average 1 year life cycle of smart phones in the industry. ?But with a phone?s downfall, comes the rise of a new champion.

With increasing news regarding the Sailfish and Marlin phones coming out, and the fact Google now has an empty pedestal to fill. The odds of the Sailfish and Marlin coming in to pick up what the 6P has left is becoming ever more plausible.

If for some reason you?re not as hyped as us over the possible near release of the Sailfish & Marlin, then you can still rush to Newegg?s website to get your hands on the Nexus 6P before all stocks completely vanish!
