Fresh information suggests that the upcoming Google Nexus 2016 smartphones will be sporting a neater appeal. Android Police has created images of Nexus 2016 Marlin and Sailfish smartphones based on Nexus 2016 rumors and evidences it has received from its source.

The Nexus 2016 seems to sport an aluminum chassis with a plastic housing for camera and fingerprint scanner. There are three holes present next to the rear camera. The publication speculates that two of them may function as auto-focus and some kind of sensor for the camera. The third hole is likely a secondary microphone.

The smartphone sports a ?G? logo at the bottom side of the rear panel. It is unclear whether the ?G? logo will be present on the final product. Also, there is no confirmation whether the final design of Nexus 2016 smartphones will feature an ?HTC? logo.

The front side of the smartphone has a plain appeal. It includes usual features such as a selfie shooter, phone call speakers and some sensors. The dimensions of the smartphones are not available yet. The software Home button on Nexus 2016 smartphone can be seen in solid white color.

The edges and curves that can be seen on the renders created by the publication may appear differently on the final product. Unlike previous Nexus 2016 rumors, the upcoming Nexus smartphones are unlikely to sport HTC 10 design. The rumor mill has revealed the entire specifications of Nexus 2016 Marlin and Sailfish smartphones.

The Nexus 2016 Marlin?will be a flagship device with 5.5-inch screen that will come out to replace the Google Nexus 6P from 2015 that sports a 5.7-inch display. The Nexus 2016 Sailfish will be an upper midrange device that will feature a 5-inch screen. It will be arriving to succeed that the Google Nexus 5X from last year that sports a 5.2-inch screen.
