Bitbaggers, get your eyes ready for this news flash from Activision. Just when you thought the Call of Duty series was being over shadowed by all of the Battlefield Bad Company 2 hype train, CoD rears it?s face again, with many more features than it?s predecessors.
As described by Activision, ?Prepare for the follow-up to the biggest entertainment launch in history on November 9th.? Now these are some strong but justified claims, considering the ground breaking sales numbers from the franchise last year.
?We can?t wait for our community to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops,? said Mark Lamia, Studio Head for Treyarch. ?We have focused our entire studio on this game, with dedicated multiplayer, single-player and co-op teams creating the most intense, gripping and riveting experience possible for our fans on all fronts.?
Unfortunately, I don?t really have much more information other than this announcement and the fact that Treyach means to put everything it can bring to the franchise on the table. Just like with any other industry, when someone drops the ball, you can rest assure that someone else will be there ready to pick it up. I?ll bring you more information as this story develops. Can?t wait to see what the dedicated multiplayer, single-player and co-op features will be?
I know our fans will chime in and let us know what this means for military FPS fans and Call of Duty supporters. For more information, visit www.callofduty.com/blackops immediately following the game?s appearance on GameTrailers TV on Spike this Friday and also, via Twitter @JD_2020
