When people become too excited, they tend to make up things that start to sound and feel real. For Call of Duty fans, this is the case and more.? In ?MP1ST and Bubble News, the next Call of Duty game will be called Patriots and the game will be back in its World War themed settings. At least, that?s what the rumors say, and it is still nothing to be too excited about. But this is Call of Duty we?re talking about, so it might be worth snooping.

Bubble News claims that they have boatloads of information regarding the next release of Call Of Duty. One, calling the game Call of Duty: Patriots, and with the main character of the game being ?Smith Black?. Their report also states that the game is set to be released only for current generation consoles, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Wii U is excluded along with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

From what their reports state, the game will have a ?fictional? version of World War 1 with a twist of ?fantasy? element in it. One good example of this thing is that one of the main characters will be from a past Call of Duty game, in an alternate reality.

The game is also said to have a campaign that will last at, roughly, 6 hours with additional 2 sub-campaigns to extend its life span a bit. Even Bubble News says, that this info should be taken with a grain of salt, as not every detail can be final, and hearing from Activision would be better than anything, in terms of getting info about the release date.

Earlier this year, a YouTuber name Drift0r also revealed a ?leaked? gameplay video of the next Call of Duty game in its alpha stages. He mentioned that it might also be the 4th Modern Warfare game for Call of Duty series, though Activision didn?t respond to make any comment about it.

We can’t talk at all about Call of Duty for this year,” Sledgehammer’s Michael Condrey said along with his studio co-founder Glen Schofield at GDC Vault. “[Activision] said you can’t show anything from Call of Duty this year, and you certainly can’t show in-game rendered characters from this year’s game.

To wrap it all up, nothing is sure yet, but the same thing happens, like what it did with Drift0r?s Call of Duty: Ghosts prediction in the past, you?d best be leaning on his sources and anticipate the next Modern Warfare, instead of another World War themed shooter.
