There were rumblings a couple of weeks ago that Asus was planning something big for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017. Tech fans from all over the world finally got to see what they were working on as the company unveiled the new Asus Zenfone AR. With the announcement at CES 2017, tech fans are clamoring about the Asus Zenfone AR which could be the best smartphone from the company yet.
While the CES 2017 features some of the best smartphones which are about to be released, the Asus Zenfone AR is certainly one of the hottest ones around. The upcoming smartphone blends amazing features with great specs that will surely have many tech fans ecstatic.

While Asus has released several great smartphones in the past, the Zenfone AR could be the best one yet. According to NDTV, the upcoming phone will feature a whopping 8GB of RAM and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 chipset. This alone certainly puts it above all the other smartphones the company has released.
Not only that, the upcoming Zenfone AR is said to support Google’s Tango augmented reality programme as well as Google’s Daydream virtual reality software. The combination of AR and VR support certainly makes it one of the most unique devices at CES 2017.
The same report mentions that the Asus Zenfone AR is expected to come in multiple variants. Aside from the 8GB variant unveiled at CES 2017, there is also going to be a 6GB option as well.
With all the great specs and processor-intensive features, overheating may be a concern for some users. Well, Asus has already thought ahead and added the vapour cooling system in the Zenfone AR to prevent this from happening.
All in all, the Zenfone AR is poised to become the most ambitious smartphone from Asus yet. It may be the phone that will help propel Asus as one of the top smartphone manufacturers in the market. Expect the Asus Zenfone AR to be launched in the second quarter of 2017.
