The next Battlefield game is coming out and it will be about Cops and Robbers! If that news didn?t sound legit to you, you better believe it. To fully back this up, EA actually published the official website for the game already. The game will come by the name of Battlefield: Hardline.?
On the official website, it states there that major information about the game will be announced at E3 on June 9 at 12:00 PDT. This will be at EA?s press conference at E3 in Los Angeles. At first, there was no confirmation about the info because what people only managed to find was the logo for game references to all last-generation and current-generation consoles, along with PC. All these were spotted on EA?s own servers in the Battlelog source code.
An unofficial Battlefield Twitter account did round up images for Battlefield: Hardline including those to be used for vehicles, equipments, weapons and other stuff to be used for the game. A logo from Visceral studios, the guys behind Dead Space was also found, suggesting that the game will be co-created by this company as well.
There?s no certainty yet as to how Battlefield: Hardline will play out, but rumors and sources say that it will be more of a cops and robbers themed story. To add up to this speculation, logos for ?SWAT? and ?Thieves? were also found along with the images.
Battlefield: Hardline is certainly going to be one of the 6 major titles that EA will be announcing at E3 2014. One of these games uses ?Frostbite 3? engine. It is the same thing that powered Battlefield 4 and Need For Speed: Rivals, so it?s not hard to imagine that, that game is Battlefield: Hardline.
According to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, Battlefield franchise will be play an important role in shaping up the company?s fiscal year for 2015, so we can all place our bet on this upcoming title.
