After years of hearing rumors and waiting for the news to come, Apple has finally hinted of the third-generation Apple TV. John Paczkowski of BuzzFeed shares that the company intends to announce its next-generation Apple TV in September, at the same time unveiling its new iPhones.
The rumored specs of the new product?includes an A8 processor,?a touch-pad based remote?that’s improved compared to the current version, a new operating system that supports a full App Store, developer APIs, and Siri voice control, and more on-board storage to accommodate apps. Physically, the tv stream box?will take on a new, slimmer look, according to BuzzFeed News. This new product from Apple is considered to be a ?significant overhaul? of the tv stream box.
According to Business Insider, on the hardware side, the multinational technology company is said to have slimmed down the product?itself, and the Apple TV remote is also getting a redesign that includes a new heptic touch pad. The website also shares that Apple is also updating its A8 chips, and it?s also adding more RAM for a speed boost.
TV experience has been currently on the ideas of Apple, so it isn?t a surprise if it?s going to be a hit sensation. The third gen Apple TV has gone several years without changes so a refresh is certainly in order, but the other half of the rumor says Apple’s long-rumored subscription TV setup?will not launch with it, Engadget shares. Who knows? Maybe after a few years, Apple TV will become epitomy of TV streaming.
Rumors have also suggested that a supply chain research indicated that Apple was all set to produce what he referred to as an ?iPhone 6-looking version of the iPhone 5C,? according to Business Insider. For more info regarding iPhone 6c rumors, click here.
