Fans would be jumping up and down to know that Netflix will revive A Series of Unfortunate Events. This time, it’s in the form of a TV series. The main villain played by Neil Patrick Harris said that it will be super faithful to the books. But many believe that this will be much darker than the film or the book by Daniel Handler a.k.a. Lemony Snicket.

The Perfect Pick
Jim Carey was simply unforgettable in his role as Count Olaf in the movie. Right now it?s Patrick Harris’ chance to play the version of the horrible character per the Collider. He’s deadset in making the place a hell hole for the children in the process of trying to get the fortune of the Baudelaire, bwahahaha! (villainous laugh).
Of course, there’s also the new Violet, Klaus and Sunny. These will be played by Malina Weissman, Louis Haynes and Presley Smith, respectively. Patrick Warburton will be Lemony Snicket, Joan Cusack is Justice Strauss, Aasif Mandvi is Uncle Monty, K Todd. Freeman is Atty. Poe and Alfre Woodard will be Aunt Josephine per gamenguide.com.
For those who aren’t familiar with neither film or story, it revolves around the Baudelaire kids Violet, the eldest daughter, Klaus, the geeky brother, and Sunny, a weird but amazingly smart baby. Count Olaf is supposed to take care of them. Unfortunately, the tables are turned and they end up taking care of him. Cleaning his house, cooking his food, working for him. All the while being treated like dirt. After all, the only reason why he wants those kids with him is for him to get all their money.
So exactly when is Netflix going to release this much awaited series? Watch out for it on January “Friday the 13th”, bwahahaha (another villainous laugh). For more of A Series of Unfortunate Events news and latest updates, keep it here on TheBitBag. Hit us with your feedback in the comments below.
