Neil Gaiman is loved by many for his special talent in reinventing and refreshing old stories. He has some particular favorites and one of them are Norse myths. As you would have thought, the master storyteller has come up with a new book about the Norse mythology.

Some of Gaiman?s most popular works are Sandman and American Gods. In these works, gods like Odin and Loki play big roles. Now, the beloved author is focusing on the original Norse myths head-on in his upcoming book.

Norse Mythology Release Date

The book?s title is uncomplicated- Norse Mythology. Gaiman recently announced that the book will officially be out on Feb. 17, 2017. The book is from W.W. Norton & Company.

Gaiman took to Twitter to share how the book will look like. The cover of the book is revealed with a GIF of Thor?s hammer spinning. Check Gaiman?s social media post below but be careful not to stare at the hammer for too long because your head might start spinning too.

Books For Charity

Many of us are surely thrilled to get hold of the Norse Mythology. Before fans could get their hands on it next year, Gaiman is preparing something Christmassy for his fans and for charity. He partners with Humble Bundle to help raise money for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and the Gaiman Foundation.

Gaiman and the Humble Bundle bring The Humble Book Bundle: Neil Gaiman. It offers a collection of priceless rarities. These include brand new ebooks. The titles are A Calendar of Tales with Paul Roman Martinez and Neverwear: A Portfolio of Stories. The latter features the arts of Jim Lee, David Mack and Roman Dirge, among others.

Bleeding Cool reported that The Humble Book Bundle: Neil Gaiman runs from December 7 until December 21, 11 a.m. Pacific time. So if you know a Gaiman fan, a book will be a perfect gift this Christmas.
