Neil Gaiman Invites Fans to Watch Princess Mononoke 20th Anniversary US Screening

Neil Gaiman shows his full support for Princess Mononoke as he invites fans to see its 20th anniversary U.S. Screening. The official Neil Gaiman Tumblr has listed down the schedules. The subtitled version is showing on January 5, followed by the english dubbed on January 9.

So for fans that have not seen Princess Mononoke on the big screen, it?s your lucky chance. Gaiman fans would not wish to miss his contributions to the script. Some 20 years ago, he was part of the team writing the English script.

Princess Mononoke features magic and forests, compromise and love. The film is set in Japan with wolves and boars and people in it. It is a must-see film by anime master Hayao Miyazaki. Miyazaki is also the genius behind Spirited Away, along with so many other classics.

The official Neil Gaiman Tumblr also includes details on how to secure your tickets. The screening will be held at select theaters in the United States. You may obtain your tickets by visiting the box office of participating theaters.

Princess Mononoke is a film from popular Japanese animation studio, Studio Ghibli. The film was released 20 good years ago. Since then, audiences have fallen in love with its narrative. The anime classic is regarded as Studio Ghibli?s premier work.

The forthcoming years mark the movie?s 20th anniversary. And, Studio Ghibli?s American distributors are geared to make the event memorable for all the fans. A two-night-only cinematic release will be held. The screenings will be presented by GKIDS and Fathom Events.

Attendees will also get the chance to see a rare 1995 music video. It is directed by Hayao Miyazaki for Japanese band Chage & Aska?s song ?On Your Mark.?
