NBA Trade Rumors

The NBA Trade Rumors have dominated the offseason with several big name players all being linked to several trade scenarios. With almost all NBA teams trying to beef up their rosters before opening night, it is no mystery why so many superstars are reportedly the subject of trade talks.

One player who has been rumored to be on the trade block is Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay. The veteran has been linked to a few teams such as the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers but one squad that he wants to get traded to is the Miami Heat. It appears the feeling is mutual as recent reports reveal that the Heat is also interested in getting Gay via trade.

According to Sactown Royalty, there is reportedly a mutual interest between Gay and the Miami Heat. The report mentions that the scenario where Gay gets traded to Miami seems like a good fit for both parties.

The Heat just lost its franchise player in Dwyane Wade during the free agency and its other former All-star Chris Bosh is still uncertain to play this season. Another scoring option in Joe Johnson likewise departed this offseason so there is plenty of opportunity for Gay to be the top player in the squad.

Rudy Gay

With a trio of Gay, Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic, the Heat have a very solid core that can surely compete for a playoff spot. The problem though is who Miami would have to give up to get Gay.

There is a strong possibility that Miami could include newly signed Tyler Johnson or sophomore sensation Josh Richardson in the deal. Either of the two players would be a great addition to the Kings and it would give them a young core to play alongside DeMarcus Cousins, Willie Cauley-Stein and Darren Collison.

Given that there is mutual interest between Gay and the Miami organization, it may only be a matter of time before a trade will happen. Be sure to stay tuned and watch out for more updates about this developing story as well as other trending topics in the NBA.
