NBA Trade Rumors: Monroe, Gay Join Westbrook, Cousins as Potential Trade Targets

By on

After the much-hyped signings of Kevin Durant with the Golden State Warriors and Dwyane Wade with the Chicago Bulls, two more ballers continue to be hot topics for NBA Trade Rumors?Greg Monroe, currently the center for the Milwaukee Bucks, and Sacramento Kings small forward Rudy Gay.

Monroe and Gay are now two of the most watched players by teams for trading along with Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook and Sacramento Kings? DeMarcus Cousins.

While the future of the OKC and their remaining star, Westbrook, is still unclear, it seems that the point guard will be staying with OKC after the team sent out feelers that Westbrook is not available for now.

However, should Westbrook not be traded or decide not to re-sign with OKC and become a free agent next year, he will surely become the top free agent then much like his former teammate Durant.

As for Cousins, NBA Trade Rumors have it that he will be making a trip to Milwaukee in exchange for Monroe, whose acquisition last year still has to bear fruit for Milwaukee.

And the rumor that the reigning NBA champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers, is interested in getting him in exchange for Kevin Love just won?t die down.

This in contrast to reports that the Boston Celtics is no longer interested in adding Cousins to their lineup and is now interested in Jahlil Okafor.

As for Monroe, NBA Trade Rumors has it that Milwaukee is open to trading him, according to ESPN?s Marc Stein.

NBA Trade Rumors also continue to swirl around Gay who seems to have a lot of teams to choose from such as Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Houston Celtics and the Toronto Raptors.

Looks like the NBA trading season and free agency will be something to look forward to. For more tidbits on NBA Trade Rumors, keep it here on TheBitBag.
