Several NBA Trade Rumors have surfaced around the New York Knicks this off-season which led them to acquiring two great veterans in the form of Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah. As the organization form a very interesting roster, it seems like they are going after all-star forward Chris Bosh to include him in their line-up.
Phil Jackson, president of the Knicks, has indeed made crucial decisions this summer as his team acquired two all-star athletes. However, recent reports suggest that they are not over yet as they are said to be trying to add Miami Heat?s Bosh to their organization.
As of now, Bosh is out after being discovered in February that he is suffering from blood clots. Many believe that his career is at risk due to this illness and fans are also doubtful about his return. But, if he really does come back in the league before the next season kicks off, he might be facing a trade deal between the Knicks and the Heat.
However, for the trade to happen, New York should have a very considerable offer to Miami. A deal that would want them to trade their one last all-star player. Speaking of, the Knicks might be willing to give center Noah in exchange for Bosh, because trading Krisptaps Porzingis is certainly not a topic to discuss.
If this NBA Trade Rumor would come true some time in the future, Bosh is going to play for the Knicks with Carmelo Anthony, Rose and Kristaps Porzingis. It would also create an immediate force in the Eastern Conference which could stand against the defending champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Although the trade is indeed appealing for the Knicks fans, it seems like the Miami Heat is not ready to let go of their forward. In a recent letter from Micky Arison, owner of the Heat organization, to their fans, he mentioned that Bosh and Hassan Whiteside are going to be their centerpiece this upcoming season, which obviously means trading him away is not on the table.
But for head coach Erik Spoelstra, whether or not Bosh is in their roster this season, the team is still going to be the same. ?There?s some things that will never change with this organization. Our expectation to win. Our expectation to compete for an NBA championship regardless of who we have in this uniform. And to those things, you have to commit to a championship level defense,? he said.
Bosh?s return to the Heat is still uncertain as of the writing, but the fans and the Heat organization are being optimistic about it as they believe he will make it in time and join them once more to compete in the NBA.
