NBA Trade Rumors

NBA Trade Rumors have become very rampant this offseason as teams are doing everything they can to become better. Kevin Love has always been the subject of trade rumors as early as last season. Now it appears that he has been linked to several trade scenarios once more as it is rumored that he could potentially be traded to the Denver Nuggets for Kenneth Faried.

Kevin Love has not had a smooth transition to the Cleveland Cavaliers from his former team, the Minnesota Timberwolves. The former All-star has played sub-par in the past two seasons, although he did help the team in winning the title during this year?s NBA Finals. Now, it appears that the team could be looking to trade Love and one potential destination is Denver, Colorado.

According to Cavaliers Nation, the Cavs are reportedly looking to trade Love to Denver for Kenneth Faried. Faried, also known as the Manimal for his intense play on the court, is a prolific rebounder and an athletic big man who could certainly fit perfectly with the Cavs. The Manimal has had a less than stellar season last year but it could be due, in large part, to the coaching staff not maximizing his talents.

The Cavs trading Love to Denver would certainly open up a lot more opportunities for the former UCLA standout. Love would be the undisputed superstar in the team which has been searching for a go-to scorer for the past couple of seasons. It could also help revitalize his career and get him back to his All-star form.

Kenneth Faried

Cleveland would be getting an athletic big man who can work well with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Unlike Love, Faried does not need the ball in his hands often as he uses his hustle and athleticism to get offensive boards and score. His defense is also much better than Love so that could be one category that the Cavs can improve on if Faried joins the team.

There have been no confirmation yet from the Cavs or Nuggets if the trade is final but expect more news from this developing situation in the coming days or weeks.
