NBA trade rumors suggest that the Cleveland Cavaliers look to solidify their roster by adding Dwyane Wade in response to stronger Eastern Conference teams including Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers who have each acquired new star players.

Since NBA trade rumors of Wade leaving Miami Heat have been surfacing since his ugly spat with Heat president Pat Riley, several insiders speculate that Wade has already made his decision to join the Cavs. Wade got upset that Miami prioritized reaching an agreement with Hassan Whiteside at the beginning of the free agency, then turned their attention to Kevin Durant while completely ignoring him.

League insiders speculate that since Wade apparently cancelled his free agent meetings with two other teams, it is likely that he may have made a deal with the Cavaliers. Wade was scheduled to meet with the Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets, but according to ESPN?s Brian Windhorst, he cancelled these meetings.

Windhorst tweeted: ?Dwyane Wade has canceled some of the free agent meetings with teams he?d set up with weeks, sources said.?

Also adding more conviction to Wade joining the Cavs is the fact that the Cavs official Twitter account followed both Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, while the Cleveland Indians Twitter account followed Wade too. ?Also, since Cavs? superstar LeBron James was with Wade in Spain, rumors indicate that James may even take a minimum contract to accommodate his friend.

Meanwhile, Wade could still decide to play with the Heat as they are offering him a $40 million-two year contract. Though initially, the number was reportedly $10 million per season, but on Monday afternoon, in response to Wade?s dig at Miami when he tweeted, “Relationships are important people!” the Heat had doubled their offer to two years and $40 million.

Wade was in New York to meet with Denver president Josh Kroenke, general manager Tim Connelly and coach Mike Malone. So he still could even join the Nuggets who are reportedly offering him two years and $52 million. But it is said that the 34-year-old star would like a third guaranteed year too. Wade’s hometown team, the Chicago Bulls, are also rumored to be in the race and they have ?significant interest? in him and ?may still decide? to meet him in New York.
