The NBA Free Agency has certainly had a huge impact on the entire league this offseason. With superstar forward Kevin Durant announcing that he will be joining the Golden State Warriors, the rest of the league quickly tried to get a roster which will be able to beat the hands down favorites to win next season. Several veterans have also expressed their interest to join the bandwagon such as David West who agreed to the veteran?s minimum in hopes of winning a title with the Warriors.
As if the Warriors need even more offense, recent reports that another sharp shooter is likewise interested in joining Golden State. According to ESPN, veteran shooting guard Ray Allen is reportedly considering making a return to the NBA to join the Warriors. Aside from Golden State, the 2016 NBA Champs the Cleveland Cavaliers is also one potential landing spot that Allen would prefer.
Ray Allen has sat out the past two seasons, last playing for the Miami Heat during the 2013-14 season wherein they lost to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals. The veteran will be turning 41 later this month but he still has the dangerous shooting stroke that many teams will covet.
According to CBSSports, Allen is also considering other teams aside from the Cavs and Warriors. The report mentions that the Los Angeles Clippers and the San Antonio Spurs are also on his radar. No matter which team Allen will eventually sign with, one thing is for certain and that is the sharp shooter will definitely be sniping 3-pointers with efficiency once more.
